Although the concept of barter is thousands of years old, bartering through Bartercard is the most innovative way of combining modern technology, a community of businesses, and indirect and direct marketing channels to increase your customer base, increase sales, increase profit and improve cashflow. Bartercard is unlike any other credit or debit card because you fund the card with your own goods and services... NOT CASH. Bartercard currently helps over 6,500 smart businesses in New Zealand to increase sales, customer base, cash-flow and profit.
You will be glad to know that we do accept payments via credit cards, just proceed to the checkout as normal and the creit card payment option will be made available to you. Also please see the Bartercard referral section to help you become a Bartercard member - Simply enter your details and we will do the work for you. It’s that easy.
It’s really simple. Add your items to your shopping cart, and once you are at the Shopping Cart page, you will
1. Be displayed with the price of the product, and the ability to add more items to your order.
2. Continue to the checkout to fill in the required information;
a. Delivery Name
b. Delivery Address
c. Contact Email address
d. Contact Phone Number
3. Payment method - you can choose between Bartercard (postage and handling in cash), Credit Card, of Manual Deposit.
If you choose to pay with Bartercard you will continue on to enter the following information
a. Bartercard Number
b. Bartercard Expiry Date
c. Payment method for Postage & Handling (Visa, Mastercard or Manual Deposit).
4. Submit your order
5. You will receive an email, confirming your order complete with the courier tracking number.
Bartercard, Credit Card (Visa and Mastercard) or Manual deposit. Please note if you are paying Bartercard you will still have to pay cash for the Postage & Handling.
Sorry no you cannot spilt your payments for the product. But you will need to pay cash for the postage & courier fee. If you don’t have enough Barter credits contact Bartercard.co.nz and they will often increase your limit for you.

Just like other trading sites, our Customer Service team will keep you updated on all the details via email. Once we have confirmed receipt of your payment, we will pick, pack and ship the items. You will then receive a confirmation email advising your tracking number and courier details so you know when your order is on its way. We’ll keep you informed every step of the way.
As soon as your order is processed, it will be shipped within 2 working days! Then allow 3-4 working days for it to be delivered. You should receive your item within 5 working days of payment confirmation. Items are shipped directly and carefully from us to you via our trusted courier partners. However exact delivery times will depend on your geographic location.
On each product page – the shipping is displayed.
The prices are broken down into 5 different areas:
1. Wellington
2. North Island Rural
3. North Island Non Rural
4. South Island rural
5. South Island non rural
Currently, all orders are shipped through PBT Courier or Jets Transport.
This is to let you know the shipping price before you hit the checkout. Once you have entered your address at the Purchase process your shipping will be added on to the total price.
If you have more than one item a combined shipping price will be calculated for you.
Please note: shipping is to be paid in cash, not Barter.
In this unlikely event; you will find all the relevant tracking details on the confirmation email we will have sent you. After allowing 5 working days, simply call the courier company and provide your tracking number. If you need any assistance with this, please feel free to contact us – our customer service team is more than happy to help sort any issues ASAP.
